Candice Hesketh

Licensed Assistant to Charlie Cohoe
Penticton

Candice Hesketh has resided in BC most of her life.  Born in Vancouver, and then moving up to the Kootenays before starting high school.  She lived in Calgary for 8 years but missed BC so moved back to the Okanagan where she started working in the Restoration business as a Project Managers Assistant.

Candice was asked to go to High River during the 2013 floods to help out there and it changed her life.  Going through a difficult loss of her own at that time, the people who had just lost everything to these floods were still in high spirits and determined to help their neighbors and the volunteers.  It gave Candice a new perspective.  Upon returning home, she began to learn all that she could about the insurance world and how it pertained to restoration.  She then obtained her IICRC certification in Mould Remediation and Water remediation and went on to become a Project Manager.

Candice recently got married and this involved a move to the rural Kootenay area of Christian Valley.  Candice had to figure out how to apply the skills and knowledge that she had obtained to carry on her career.  Her broker and friend was talking about needing an assistant and Candice offered her services!

Candice now has her level 1 broker certification and is in the process of taking her level 2 course and is excited about the road ahead!

Candice’s life is full and well rounded with 3 grown children and a grand daughter, and now her husband and his 2 children, family gives Candice her greatest pleasures!  They enjoy camping, ATVing, and horse back riding.  When Candice is not spending time with her family, she takes care of the home, and landscaping around the house, with her dog, Abby, always at her heels.
