After graduating with a first-class honours in BSc Mathematical Studies in London UK, Mo was one of few that chose this industry with intention for her career path.
Starting off as a graduate trainee with Royal Insurance in London, UK, today Mo holds over 36 years of Insurance Underwriting experience at leading Insurance Carriers and MGAs. She has built a career in insurance that is grounded in strategic execution, accountability, and profitable results. This breadth of experience has given Mo a strong foundation in the operational, regulatory, underwriting, and strategic sides of the industry/business.
She has joined us having recently served as the President & COO PREMIER , leaving a legacy, helping them shape who they are today, through her leadership, unwavering commitment and a passion for excellence that inspired all who had the privilege to work with her.
Mo has vast experience leading various teams through change, growth, and market shifts, always keeping the end goal in sight. Organization and communication are Mo’s key strengths, whether aligning stakeholders, developing products, motivating/inspiring teams, or presenting at the board level, her focus is on clarity and impact. As a leader, Mo operates with a safe open-door policy and a collaborative mindset. She makes informed decisions quickly, and puts them into action without delay. She sets a high standard for herself and her teams, trusting them to follow-through. Mo’s leadership style is clear, transparent, and built around achieving measurable outcomes together.
She has also completed board of director work, bringing a practical, governance-focused approach that balances strategic thinking with operational realities and profitability. Previously served as Board VP for the Canadian Association of MGAs (CAMGA) and today acting as Board Director for DFSV (Dress for Success – Vancouver)
Mo stands proud of what she has achieved to date, all as a single mother of two. When Mo isn’t working, you’ll find her spending time with her precious children, travelling abroad, or dancing at a live music concert—recharging and ready for what comes next!
